Georgia Frontiere relocated the Rams from Los Angeles to St. Louis in 1995, and the team moved into the taxpayer-funded stadium now known as the Edward Jones Dome. Frontiere died in 2008 and the team was sold to Stan Kroenke.
The Rams say the dome needs hundreds of millions of dollars in upgrades. The St. Louis Convention and Visitors Commission is unwilling to fund the improvements, raising concerns that the team could move.
In a statement, the Rams said they will meet with they have spoken with Nixon's office and also said they will meet with the task force.
