WASHINGTON, Mo. (AP) -- The body of an eastern Missouri man has been found in his basement, 10 days after police say he reportedly had vanished.
A neighbor found the body of 45-year-old Dale Nolting in the man's Washington home.
Nolting's brother, Randy Nolting, had told police on Nov. 3 that his brother left four days earlier from the home they shared and did not return. Randy Nolting said his brother was taking medication for a kidney ailment, as well as a bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.
Police say a neighbor cleaning a vehicle behind the home Tuesday went into the basement and saw a blanket-covered body that turned out to be Dale Nolting's in a small, partially concealed area.
Police say there were no visible signs of foul play, but they're investigating.
