Woman robbed at gunpoint near popular downtown St. Louis nightclub

(KMOV) – St. Louis police say a woman was robbed near a popular nightclub.

It happened just before 11:00 p.m. on Saturday night at 19th and Locust in front of Club 15.
 
The 26-year-old victim tells police that she had parked her car and was walking north on 18th Street. That's when the victim says that she saw a white four-door Grand Prix with tinted windows and large chrome wheels pull up next to her.
 
The victim says that a black man in his late teens or early 20s got out of the car, grabbed her and pointed a gun at her.
 
The suspect allegedly took the woman's purse and iPhone and got back into the vehicle. There were three other people inside the Grand Prix.
 
The victim describes the suspect as 5'6" with a thin build and weighing around 140 pounds. He is described as having a light complexion and was last seen wearing a long-sleeved white t-shirt and a white hat.
 
St. Louis police are still investigating this incident.
