BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (AP) -- Republican Bill Brady plans to make an announcement regarding his campaign for Illinois governor.

The state senator has scheduled a news conference Friday afternoon in his hometown of Bloomington.

Election results have made it clear Democratic Gov. Pat Quinn has won his extremely close election bid.

But Brady hasn't conceded, and his campaign has insisted he's still looking for votes.

An Associated Press analysis of uncounted votes from absentee and other ballots shows the state senator won't be able to overcome the more than 19,400-vote lead Quinn holds with all precincts reporting.
