(KMOV)--A Ferguson man faces drunk driving charges, among others, after fleeing a traffic stop.
Authorities say that around 11:30 p.m. Monday, Lorenzo Nunn, 38, was pulled over for driving erratically heading eastbound on Interstate 70 near Highway K.
According to police, as the officer approached Nunn’s truck, Nunn fled the scene at high speed. The officer followed Nunn as he exited the highway at exit 79. The vehicle went left on the roadway and then struck a sign, overturning several times and eventually ejecting Nunn.
Nunn was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
He was issued a summons to appear in court on numerous charges including driving while intoxicated and driving with a revoked license.
