Lafayette Lancers (5-4) @ CBC Cadets (8-1) – Class 6, District 3
This District still has many possible scenarios as to which teams will advance into the STATE tournament. With a win, CBC (8-1,2-0) is the clear cut Champion of the District. If Lafayette upsets the Cadets, it may open the door for the Lancers to move into the #2 spot and push Parkway South into the top rung of the District. Both teams won’t hold anything back as they work to reach the STATE tournament.
St. Louis U. High (4-5) @ Lindbergh Flyers (7-2) – Class 6, District 2
This is a real simple one – the winner moves on to STATE and the loser has finished their season! SLUH brings their high octane passing attack to face the Co-champs of the Suburban West Conference.
Mehlville Panthers (3-6) @ DeSmet Spartans (5-4) – Class 6, District 2
The Spartans (5-4, 2-0) are sitting atop the District entering this game. A win clearly assures them the #1 seed. Mehlville has been playing better ball of late and should provide a strong challenge for the Spartans. Prepcasts is covering both game of this exciting district!
Washington Bluejays (4-5) @ Vianney Golden Griffins (1-8)-Class 5, District 5
The Golden Griffins will celebrate Senior night as they entertain the Bluejays from the Gateway Athletic Conference. This game should provide plenty of fireworks offensively as both teams will be looking to put points on the board.
SATURDAY, OCT 30
Belleville East Lancers (7-2) @ O’Fallon Panthers (7-2)
After lots of shuffling, these two schools meet again in the Illinois playoffs. Both schools were 7-2 for the year! O’Fallon won the first brusing battle 13-5 in early October. Both teams have a stout defense and a strong running game. A great playoff game is in the making.
