Words like "outbreak" and "pandemic" have all but left the airwaves in recent weeks, but the St. Louis County Health Department still strongly recommends you get the H1N1 vaccine if you haven't already.
I went to a free H1N1 vaccine clinic in Ballwin's Queeny Park and saw people by the dozens come in for their free shot and get in and out in about 5 minutes. I took advantage of it myself.
One guy from the Health Department explained to me how pandemics typically come in three waves... We've had two... last May and the last week of October. A third one could be on the way.
There is plenty of vaccine to go around now so for a list of the places you can get it for free, check out www.saintlouiscountyflu.com.
