Wisconsin ice castle tradition continues

A tradition that began in 1933 continues in a Wisconsin town.

The ice castle in Eagle River, Wisconsin is finally complete, after above average temperatures in November and December caused a brief delay.

Volunteers from the local fire department have been working since Thursday to complete the structure, made of nearly 3,000 blocks of ice. The construction was set back more than a week because it took longer than normal for the ice to freeze.
