The Young Professionals Group of the National MS Society Gateway Area Chapter, founded in 2009, is a fun, social group for young professionals to join the movement with the goal of engaging in fundraising opportunities. Area young professionals will also benefit from various professional development, networking and volunteer opportunities with the National MS Society Gateway Area Chapter.
The group meets at local St. Louis happy hours quarterly to network, hear from professionals speakers for development and brainstorm and organize ways to help support the over 6,300 people in the our area living with MS. It is also a great social outlet, contributing to a nonprofit organization, to meet other socially conscious adults.
The Young Professionals Group will put together 2 fundraising events to benefit the Gateway Area Chapter, along with volunteering at future Walk MS, Challenge Walk MS, Bike MS and many other future events to be held by the Chapter.
Are you thinking about getting involved? Join us at one of our upcoming events! Our next quarterly meeting will take place on February 4th at The Dubliner from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. Each guest will receive a free drink and appetizers. The evening will include networking, a speaker for professional development and our membership meeting. No RSVP is required!

A Night at the Races will take place on Saturday, February 20th, at the St. Louis Sports Zone from 6pm to 10pm. The evening will include 8 exciting races, a silent auction, raffle and a crazy hat competition. There will also be an all you can eat buffet, which includes 2 drinks (alcohol or non-alcohol). The cost to attend is $25 per person. To RSVP please contact Chariti Hoven at 314.596.7312 or All proceeds benefit the National MS Society Gateway Area Chapter.
