(KMOV) -- Investigators are looking into a deadly home invasion in north St. Louis.

It happened just before midnight on Monday in the 3900 block of Natural Bridge.

According to St. Louis police, Bryan Neal, 23, was shot and killed in the incident.

Police say that the Neal and a few other people were in a second floor bedroom when the 24-year-old suspect and two others entered.

Neal and the suspect got into an argument and police say the suspect announced a robbery.

The suspect allegedly shot the Neal in the chest and then fled along with the other two suspects.

Detectives believe that Neal and the suspect knew each other.

Several people were in the home at the time of the break-in including a two-year-old.

Police say the suspects took money and cell phones from the home before fleeing the scene.

Investigators have identified one suspect and are working to find him.
