I've been overlooking I-64/Highway 40 since 3:30 this morning and talking to MoDot and the Mo Highway Patrol.
Both agencies say St. Louis drivers drive too fast in the snow. They say that's the number one reason there are so many accidents when we have bad weather here. As I've been watching traffic, I'd have to agree. The motorists appear to be going pretty fast for the conditions. The good news for my vantage point, though, is I only saw one spin out and no accidents. Be careful out there.
