St. Charles church offering reward to catch vandals

ST. CHARLES (KMOV)-- A sign in front of a St. Charles church is the target of vandals again.
St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church on Berlekamp Drive told Dews 4 this has been going on for too long. So now it's offering a reward to catch the vandals.
It's now 7 times and counting in just over a year that the sign has been vandalized. A pro life message, either smeared out with paint or damaged. The latest incident occurred on New Year’s Eve.
Members of the Pro Life committee at the church know the signs can be politically charged, but their faith they say compels them to do what they're doing. With repair costs mounting, the group is now offering a $500 reward to find the vandals.
The group is still committed to fixing the sign every time it is vandalized. This time they said it will take a few weeks.
