No Steven Jackson. A third string quarterback. Three different offensive lineman then you started the season with. A starting defensive lineman back in St. Louis with his newborn baby. A 1-13 football on the road against the NFC West Champions who are legitimate threats to return to the Super Bowl. No chance.
The St. Louis Rams were sent to slaughter on Sunday afternoon, losing to the Arizona Cardinals 31-10 in a game that was truly an effort game for the Rams. An effort to just stay on the field against the Cardinals and not be embarrassed. The Rams did at least achieve that goal today, because the Rams were outclassed at just about every position on the field this afternoon. The downside of course is the loss but the upside was good both short term and long term for the Rams.
