Waterloo man arrested after allegedly being caught looking into child's room

WATERLOO, Ill. (KMOV.com) – A Waterloo man was arrested after he was allegedly caught looking into a child’s room while outside a home Wednesday morning.

Police said they arrested a 19-year-old around 5:30 a.m. for the “peeping Tom” incident which occurred at a home in the 200 block of Osterhage Drive in Waterloo, Illinois.

The man was released from the Monroe County Jail after he posted bail, according to police.

Waterloo Police Chief Jim Trantham is asking anyone with information regarding the case or anyone in the area who suspects someone has peeked into their windows to call the department at 618-939-3377.
