NAUGATUCK, CT (WFSB) - An Oxford grandmother is facing charges after police said she was drinking an alcoholic beverage while driving with her grandson in the car.
Deborah Jaffer, 60, of 479 Chestnut Tree Hill, was discovered by police on Rubber Avenue on Friday afternoon, police said.
Naugatuck police charged Jaffer with drinking while operating a motor vehicle and risk of injury to a child. Police said her grandson is under the age of 10 years old.
She was released on a $2,500 bond and is expected to appear in court on Sept. 18.
