ST. CHARLES COUNTY (KMOV.com) – A 21-year-old man is in custody suspected of shooting his ex-girlfriend and her father Saturday night.
According to the St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department, an 18-year-old and her friend met up with an ex-boyfriend at the Mobile Gas Station at Highway N and Highway Z around 11:00 p.m. Police say the couple had broken up in April, but the man made numerous attempts at contacting and harassing the woman.
The conversation between the three became heated at the gas station and the girl’s 37-year-old father arrived. Police say 21-year-old Aaron Andrews, of Wentzville, took out a handgun and shot the ex-girlfriend in the hand and shoulder and the father in the cheek.
Police say Andrews attempted to flee the scene in a vehicle, but was taken into custody by police without incident a short time later.

The friend of the injured girl was unharmed during the incident.
