GRANITE CITY, Ill. (KMOV.com) -- A grand jury has ruled two officer-involved shootings in Granite City as justified.
The first case stemmed from a July 2 shooting at an Easy Stop gas station. Officers say Stephen Minch, 45, pointed a loaded gun at them and refused to put it down. Officers then opened fire and killed Minch.
The second shooting occurred in August when an officer shot 52-year-old Thomas Noser. Police say Noser was reportedly armed with a knife and attacked several family members. Noser was not killed in the shooting.
