WHAT'S AT STAKE
It's a bit of a homecoming for Gary Pinkel, the career wins leader at both schools with 73 at Toledo from 1991-2000 and 103 at Missouri from 2001-present. He's in the Toledo athletics Hall of Fame. Tigers were solid in opener with 38-18 victory over South Dakota State and will try to avoid stumbling against school from the often tough MAC. Toledo spotted New Hampshire an early 14-3 lead before pulling away to win opener 54-20.
Missouri defense against Toledo balance. The Rockets piled up 666 total yards in opener — 314 rushing — and did not allow a sack. Toledo surrendered just six sacks all last season, the fewest in the nation.
