3 St. Louis schools on list of Top 25 Best High Schools in Midwest

 ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- Three St. Louis area high schools ranked in the top 25 of Midwest schools, according to thedailybeast.com.

Ladue Horton Watkins High School and Metro Academic and Classical High came in numbers 7 and 8 on the list.

Overall, these schools were ranked in the top 700 nationwide, according to the website, along with several other St. Louis schools. Ladue was ranked 68 and Metro was 78 nationally. 

The website says they used six indicators to compile the list including: Graduation and college acceptance rates, college-level courses and exams, percentage of student with free or reduced lunch and standardized test scores.
