ALTON, Ill. (AP) -- Officials still haven't pinpointed the source of an odor that sent three tellers at a bank in the Mississippi River city of Alton to the hospital.
The smell at the Bank of Edwardsville branch Thursday appeared to have accumulated near the drive-through area where the tellers had been working.
At least one of the tellers reported feeling lightheaded and experiencing chest pains.
All were treated at the hospital and released.
Alton Assistant Fire Chief Tom House says firefighters using detection equipment found nothing suspicious or toxic. And House says Ameren detected no natural gas leaks.
