ST. LOUIS (KMOV) -- A 4-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle whose driver fled after being confronted by a neighbor who witnessed the incident, police said.
Authorities said the boy was riding his bicycle in the 200 block of South 11th Street in Belleville when he was struck around 7:40 p.m. Friday.

The boy was taken to Belleville Memorial Hospital, where he was treated for scrapes and bruises, police said.
