(KMOV) -- Chris Coleman, the father and husband of the three murder victims, provided fingerprints to the Columbia police department.
It comes 6 days after Sheri Coleman and her two sons were found dead in their house.
Investigators asked for Coleman's fingerprints.
He was there with his attorney around 2:30 Monday afternoon.
The Major Case Squad is confirming that bit of information, though they will not call Chris Coleman a suspect, won't say if they have even have one, or if they've narrowed the field.
Over the last several days, law enforcement has asked the public to come forward with information about the Coleman family in general.
And while the deputy commander won't say what they've learned, they say the information is proving helpful in piecing together what happened the morning Sheri, Garret and Gavin Coleman were found murdered.
Detectives said they planned to spend several more days of intense investigation.
There are about 20 detectives still actively working this case.
The Major Case Squad chief deputy called it a top priority among law enforcement in the area.
