O'FALLON, Mo. (AP) -- A tractor-trailer carrying stuffing used for Build-A-Bear Workshop is destroyed after an accident on Interstate 70 outside of St. Louis.
The semi driver apparently lost control due to slick road conditions and wrecked early Friday in the St. Charles County town of O'Fallon. Inside the tractor-trailer was stuffing for St. Louis-based Build-A-Bear Workshop, whose stores allow customers to make their own stuffed animals.
The truck driver was not hurt.
It took firefighters hours to put out the blaze.
Shortly after that, a car and another semi-truck were involved in a seperate crash not far from the truck fire.
This incident happened in the traffic jam on I-70 behind the truck fire.
Video from SkyZoom shows that at least one person was taken from the scene in an ambulance after the crash. No word yet on that person's condition.
Both incidents caused a lengthy shutdown of westbound I-70.
