ST. LOUIS (KMOV) -- The Missouri Department of Transportation issued a report on Wednesday giving the state's roads an above average score.
MoDot said 83% of Missouri's most traveled roads are in good condition.
The report only highlights highways and does not include many of the side roads and overpasses.
According to the report, Missouri's interstates had a 53.6 percent ratting five years ago.
MoDot said an amendment passed in 2004 paved the way to make major improvements to the roads.
Truck drivers voted Missouri roads fifth best in the nation.
