COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) -- Tailgaters planning to arrive early for Missouri's homecoming game Saturday against Colorado may want to change those plans.

Citing recent "inappropriate behavior," athletic director Mike Alden told fans in a letter posted on the athletic department's Web site Tuesday that Reactor Field won't open until 2:30 p.m. CST, three hours before kickoff.

The misconduct includes the Oct. 11 arrest of a Reactor Field fan who pushed a campus officer into a tent pole as police attempted to break up a fight.

Another popular tailgating spot known as "Frat Pit" was shut down last year because of large crowds and widespread underage drinking.

Donor parking lots will open as usual at 8 a.m. and the other general public lot at the Maryland Avenue parking garage will open at noon.
