(KMOV)— The Madison County Sheriff’s Office is warning the public to be aware of a woman going door to door asking for money.
The incidents began on May 27th when the woman knocked on a resident’s door in Brighton Illinois asking for gas money, saying her mother was in the hospital. The same activity continued from June 3rd to June 9th in Cottage Hills, Alton, and Alhambra, Illinois.
