Belleville: Man charged with possession of burglary tools
(KMOV) – A Belleville man has been charged with one count Possession of Burglary Tools and one count Obstructing Identification.
Police report that Paul Doucette, 30, was detained in the front yard of an apartment complex at the 7000 block of West Main St. He was found to be in possession of a hammer, pocket knife and flashlight, police said.
According to officials, Doucette said he was trying to get into his girlfriend’s apartment to get some her belongings after the couple was evicted in early June.
