Police investigating multiple shootings in north St. Louis

(KMOV)-- Police are investigating after several shootings in north St. Louis Monday.

The first incident happened around 5:34 p.m. in the 1500 block of Cass. Authorities said a 27 and 21-year-old male

were arguing with an unknown person when four black males walked up and started shooting at them. Both victims were shot in the legs. They were taken to an area hospital and listed in stable condition.

Later on Monday police were called around 11:28 p.m. in the 4400 block of Ashland. Authorities said a 17-year-old male told police he was in a friend's car when a dark colored SUV with tinted windows drove by and started shooting at them. The victim was shot in the arm and grazed in the stomach. He was taken to an area hospital and listed in stable condition. Authorities said it appears the victim's vehicle returned fire. Another driver reported seeing the suspect vehicle in the area. That driver's vehicle was also hit by gunfire but there were no injuries.

Just moments later police were called around 11:30 p.m. in the 4200 block of Rosalie. Authorities said a 19-year-old male told police he was walking east on Rosalie when he saw an older model white vehicle with tinted windows, possibly a Buick Century, driving west on Rosalie and heard gunshots. The victim was shot in the foot. He was

taken to an area hospital and listed in stable condition. No scene could be located.

The last shooting happened just before midnight in the 1400 block of Shawmut. Authorities said a 25-year-old male was walking home when he heard gunshots. The victim was shot in the hand. He was taken to an area hospital and listed in stable condition. No scene could be located.

No suspects are in custody in any of the shootings. The investigations are on-going.
