(KMOV) -- Two teens have been charged after a violent crime spree overnight.

Albert Robinson, 17, was charged with two counts of assault first degree and two counts of armed criminal action. Alan Burns, 17, was charged with two counts of assault first degree and two counts of armed criminal action. A 16 year old juvenile remains in custody in Illinois.

Authorities say the group of teens led officers on a bi-state chase after shooting two people in south St. Louis County.

The first shooting happened in the 400 block of Winston Drive in Lemay around 11:55 p.m. on Monday. A 25-year-old man tells police that he was shot after a confrontation on the front porch of his home. After he was shot, the victim fell into his home and closed the front door. The victim tells police that the suspects then fired more shots into the front door and picture window of his home.

The 25-year-old victim was transported to a local hospital. His injuries are not considered life-threatening. The victim tells police that he did not know the suspects. A motive in this shooting is unknown.

Less than three miles away and just minutes later, police were called to the intersection of Baumgartner and Telegraph Roads in the neighboring community of Oakville. A 23-year-old victim was shot while out walking. That victim was transported to a local hospital and is in serious condition. Again the victim did not know the suspect. Police believe this shooting was part of a robbery attempt.

St. Louis County police believe that both shootings were random.

Police say the suspects then drove out of St. Louis County. Authorities say the suspects were never seen or pursued by St. Louis County officers.

Around 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jefferson County deputies were called to investigate a suspicious person in the 1000 block of Autumn Oaks Court in Imperial.

A homeowner in that neighborhood told authorities that a man with a gun knocked their door and was trying to look inside the home. The homeowner and children ran to a bedroom and called police. The suspect then left the scene with a group of people in a vehicle.

While investigators were in the Autumn Oaks neighborhood, they were called to the scene of a home invasion in the 5400 block of Black Creek Drive in Imperial. That home was just down the street from the home on Autumn Oaks Court.

Authorities say that a suspect entered the home and pointed a long gun at the homeowner. The homeowner ran into his bedroom, closed the door, threatened to shoot the suspect if he came into the bedroom and called 911.

The suspects then took off from the scene in a blue Chrysler Sebring and led police through Jefferson County and into Illinois.

They followed the suspects up Interstate 55, onto I-255 and eventually ended near Sauget.

The car then wrecked after officers put out spike strips.

Three suspects were arrested after a foot pursuit. One suspect was injured by a police canine and was treated at a local hospital.

The vehicle the suspects were in was reported stolen earlier in the evening.

The suspects are now wanted in connection with crimes committed in Jefferson County and St. Louis County.
