Suspect in custody for allegedly hitting officer with car

(KMOV) – Police are reporting that 27-year-old Dustin Skinner is in custody for allegedly hitting an officer with a car after being pulled over in north St. Louis.

At about 7:10 p.m., a police officer stopped a gold Toyota Camry with two men inside. The officer instructed Skinner to get out, but instead, he drove toward the officer and hit him in the leg with the vehicle. The officer fired two shots at the car. The suspect was not hit.

The officer was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The incident happened near the intersection of Shreve and Carter.

Skinner is being held on $100,000 bond.
