(KMOV) -- A professional dog handler has been convicted of animal abuse in the deaths of seven dogs.
Mary Wild, 25, left eight dogs in van overnight last summer after. Seven of the eight dogs died of heat stroke. She has been convicted on eight counts of misdemeanor animal abuse.
Sentencing will take place this summer. Wild could face up to eight years in prison.
