(KMOV) – St. Louis police and sex crimes investigators were called to Forest Park after a woman was found bound and partially clothed early Friday morning.

The woman was discovered around 7:20 a.m. on Friday near Union Drive and Summit Drive. Police said her hands were loosely tied together.

Police said a volunteer Boy Scout leader found the woman in a shallow creek near the upper Muny parking lot and dialed 911.

The victim was coherent when she was found, and is currently in stable condition. She told police she had been raped and assaulted at another location by a man wearing a mask, and was then driven to the park and left there by him. The victim’s car, an Infinity sport coupe, was found at the scene.

The victim has been released from the hospital. Police said the victim is now telling them different details regarding the circumstances of the incident and her relationship with the suspect.

Investigators are trying to determine whether or not the victim and the suspect knew each other and where the assault took place. Authorities have not released any information about the suspect.

20,000 Boy Scouts will be in the park this weekend for a campout. Police said the park is safe.
