With summer upon us, what could better than a no bake tart that’s as easy as its namesake. Graham crackers, milk chocolate and marshamallows – is there anything that says camping and summer more?
1 1/3 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/3 cup powdered sugar (40 grams or 1 1/3 ounces)
1 stick unsalted butter, melted (114 grams or 4 ounces)
1/2 teaspoon the vanilla
Combine the crumbs and powdered sugar in a bowl.
Stir the butter and vanilla together; add to the crumb mixture and mix with a fork. Spray the bottom of a 9x3/4 inch tart pan with a removable bottom. Press 2/3 of the crumbs on the sides and the remainder on the bottom.
12 ounces of milk chocolate chips (340 grams)
1 cup 40% cream
3 ounces mini marshmallows (85 grams)
3 ounces peanuts (85 grams)
Bring the cream just to a simmer; do not let it boil. Add the chocolate; let sit for a few minutes then whisk until smooth. In the meantime while the chocolate is softening place the marshmallows and peanuts evenly in the bottom of the crust. Pour the chocolate mixture over the nuts and marshmallows which will float to the top. Refrigerate to set.
Cut into 10 to 12 pieces.
