Three men accused in beating at Metro-East bonfire

(KMOV) -- Three men have been charged after allegedly beating a man during a bonfire in Collinsville, Illinois.

The victim tells police that while attending a bonfire, three strangers came up to him and started punching him.

The victim was taken to the hospital for his injuries. He suffered bruises to the face.

Police say that the three alleged attackers, Timothy A. Neal, 44, Timothy W. Neal, 18, and Daniel A. Neal, 18, were all intoxicated at the time of the incident.

All three were arrested and the two 18-year-olds were charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor. Each suspect is in custody awaiting formal charges. Bond is set at $30,000 each.
