(KMOV) -- The St. Louis Sports Hall of Fame will induct its second class of new athletes this year. 16 individuals will receive this honor including NHL Hall of Famer Brett Hull and former NFL Most Valuable Player Marshall Faulk. A dinner will be held in November at the Millennium Hotel in St. Louis, the exact date depends on the St. Louis Blues schedule.
Founder and President of the Hall of fame, Greg Marecek says, “This group is outstanding and many of them could have been included in the first class”. To be considered for this honor a player has to either have been born in St. Louis or played on an amateur or professional St. Louis team.
Some of the members of the second class include Dick Vermeil, Coach of the Rams Super Bowl Championship team, Al McGinnis, former player for the St. Louis Blues and member of the NHL hall of fame.
