The Shakespeare Festival of St. Louis presents Hamlet – 8 p.m. (Except Tuesdays and Sat., June 5.) Preshow entertainment begins at 6:30 p.m. On the east side of Art Hill in Forest Park between the Saint Louis Art Museum and the zoo, just off Fine Arts Drive. Free.

Whitaker Music Festival. Enjoy live music under the stars at the Missouri Botanical Garden. Pack your picnic basket, lawn chairs or blankets and bring your family. Music begins at 7:30 p.m., with free Garden admission after 5 p.m. Denise Thimes – St.Louis’ jazz diva.
YFJSL (Young Friends of Jazz St. Louis) is hosting a benefit to raise money for Jazz St. Louis' educational outreach programs featuring music from Good 4 the Soul, Gene Dobbs Bradford and the Jazz St. Louis All-Stars. Tickets are $35 and include 2 free drink tickets, light appetizers served from 7-8 PM, raffle. Scape, from 6-9 PM.
