Laclede Gas to hold public hearings regarding rate hikes

(KMOV) – Laclede Gas will hold public hearing in St. Louis County regarding rate hikes.

The company is asking the state to approve a rate hike that would cost the average customer about $5.50 a month.

Times and dates for the public hearings are as follows:

Tuesday, June 1, 2010 – 11:30 a.m.

University of Missouri - St. Louis
Millennium Center
One University Boulevard
A PSC staff public information/question and answer session starts at 11:30 a.m. with the local public hearing and the taking of sworn testimony to follow.

Tuesday, June 1, 2010 – 5:30 p.m.
St. Louis Community College - Meramec Campus
Business Administration Building, Room 105
11333 Big Bend Road.

Wednesday, June 2, 2010 – 11:30 a.m.

A PSC staff public information/question and answer session starts at 11:30 a.m. with the local public hearing and the taking of sworn testimony to follow.

These local public hearings will be held in facilities that meet the accessibility standards required by the Americans with Disabilities Act.
