Man Wants his Father's War Medals Returned

An Edwardsville man is asking for help in getting his father's war medals back.   Tim Reeter parked his car at "The Parking Spot 2" out by Lambert airport.  Someone stole it with his father's medals in the trunk.  His father passed away last month.  If you've lost a mother or father you know that when they're gone the things that were part of their live mean so much more to you.

Reeter says his father served in Korea and was awarded a Bronze Star, Korean Medal of Valor and a Purple Heart.  He was wounded by a grenade when he was involved in a fight to take a hill held by the enemy.  Reeter says his father was one or only three men in the squadron to survive.

So you can see how much they mean to him.  Reeter was driving a '97 Lexus.  The general manager of the Parking Spot was going over security camera video to see if it can be used to help police identify the thief.  The GM says it's the first time a car has been stolen from the facility.
