(KMOV) -- Police have arrested two suspects they believe robbed a house in Hillsboro, Missouri. One of the suspects is the victim's nephew.

Richard Null, 20, and Dennis Hart, 17, have been charged with burglary and stealing. The robbery happened Tuesday, May 18, in the 9900 block of Column Drive.

Authorities say a 9mm pistol, a laptop computer and a bottle of prescription medicine were taken. The victim's neighbors gave police a license plate number and description of the possible suspects.

When police checked the license plate number it was determined that the vehicle belonged to the victim's nephew. The nephew’s mother was called. She brought her son to the scene where he identified the other suspect to authorities.

Both suspects are in the Jefferson County Jail with bond set at $5,000 each.
