(KMOV.com) – Police have charged a man suspected of robbing three teens at gunpoint at a Franklin County gas station.
Shawn Aubuchon, 35, is charged with felony robbery after he allegedly used a handgun to rob the three 16-year-old boys outside of a MotoMart at Church Street and Highway 50 on Sunday.
Police say Aubuchon approached the boys at 8:20 p.m. and demanded cash and cellphones from the teens. Police say the victims gave him less than $10 and their cellphones before Aubuchon entered his black four-door car as a passenger and left the scene.
According to police, the driver of the black four-door car Aubuchon returned to after robbing the teens did not know that he pulled a gun on them.
Authorities say that Aubuchon got a ride from another person to a home on Highway UU.
Aubuchon was taken into custody around 4:00 a.m. Monday morning after being found at the residence.
