(KMOV.com) -- Sales are booming since Colorado legalized recreational marijuana use and now companies in the pot business are looking to add more employees.
Job seekers lined up hours before the doors opened at Denver’s first ever Marijuana Jobs Fair armed with resumes—they hope to break into the pot business
More than a dozen companies were looking for workers with positions from accountants and computer technicians to people who can grow and sell the drug.
“Our sales have increased 300% our traffic through our stores have increased by the same number,” said business owner Luke Ramirez, “That’s why we’re here today. We need to hire more folks to help out with that traffic and added revenues.”
Colorado legalized pot for recreational use in January and during that first month sales hit $14 million.
