(KMOV) -- Police are searching for the suspects who are accused of ripping apart the sanctuary of a local church.
The pastor at Southwest Baptist Church in south St. Louis City said sometime on Friday night, thieves ripped two metal gutters from the building. The gutters were not copper.
The thieves caused several hundreds of dollars in damage.
I know they are expensive and for any church in the city right now, that matters,” said Pastor James Hill.
Pastor Hill said repairs were not accounted for in the budget and that the church will have to make do.
