(KMOV) – A Metro East police officer discovered stolen property during a routine traffic stop in February.
An officer with the Troy, Ill. Police Department stopped a vehicle for a minor violation before noticing, what he believed, was property taken during vehicle thefts around Troy.
Alexander J. Estep was interviewed by police before a warrant was issued for residential burglary and five additional charges of burglary.
According to police, four other juveniles suspected of being connected to the case also had warrents issued for residential burglary and additional burglary charges.
