Bar regular charged with stealing from other patrons

A Maryland Heights woman is facing three felony charges after allegedly stealing credit cards, cash and even a winning lottery ticket from bar customers.

Police said 46-year-old Jennifer Good used a long con to pull off the crimes, becoming a familiar face at The Brewhouse and even making friends at the neighborhood bar.

"Myself, the bartender and a lot of the patrons up here," said Carol Fallert, owner of The Brewhouse, of who Good befriended at the bar.

Surveillance video appears to show Good carrying a purse into the woman's restroom, which was later found behind the toilet in the ladies room, emptied of cash and six credit cards.

A similar theft occurred at The Drinking Horn in Maryland Heights. Police said Good took a winning lottery ticket and cash from the counter and later tried to cash the ticket, but there was a hold placed on it by the owner.

Police said Good admitted to both of the crimes and has been charged with three felony counts of stealing.
