BELLEVILLE, Ill. (KMOV.com) – A woman who was inside her Belleville home when it caught fire Wednesday has died.

Nettie Agnew, 68, suffered burns, smoke inhalation and was in cardiac arrest when firefighters arrived to her home in the 2600 block of Old Caseyville Road. Agnew was pronounced dead at a local hospital Thursday morning.

Agnew's 36-year-old is listed in critical, but stable condition at a local hospital.
