Charges issued for Jennings bank robbery suspect

ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KMOV) -- A St. Louis man has been charged in the March 3 robbery of St. Louis Community Credit Union.

Timothy Davis, 44, of the 7100 block of Farley, faces one count of first-degree robbery and is being held on a $100,000 bond.

At approximately 5:20 p.m., officers from the St. Louis County Police Department responded to a call at the credit union located at 7345 West Florissant. Davis approached a teller, implied he had a weapon and demanded money, leaving the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Davis confessed to the robbery that occurred by handing a note to the teller. He was captured on surveillance and his fingerprint was found on the note.
