A St. Louis police officer has been suspended in connection to an investigation that thousands of dollars were stolen from a police organization.
St. Louis officer Darren Wilson (not the Ferguson police officer) has been placed on leave. Authorities said they are investigating financial irregularities at the Ethical Society, an organization that represents African American officers.
The irregularities were discovered while Wilson was the President of the Ethical Society. He has since stepped down.
The Ethical Society is supported by dues paid by its members.
