Columbia, Mo. (KMOV) -- The 2012 athletic season will be different this year for the University of Missouri, as they switch from the Big 12 to the Southeastern Conference.

The SEC league office released the 2012 schedule Wednesday that says the Missouri Tigers will host Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky and Vanderbilt at Faurot field. They will hit the road for Florida, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas A&M games.

MU Head Coach Gary Pinkel said it is good to see the schedule lined out on paper. "Even though we just finished our season, this gets everyone excited to start preparing for the move," said Pinkel.

Season ticket information for the 2012 games has not yet been finalized.
