COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMOV) -- The 4-4 Missouri Tigers play the #8 ranked Florida Gators Saturday morning. This will be the Tigers first trip to Gainesville since joining the Southeastern Conference over the summer.

The Tigers are coming off their first victory against an SEC team since joining the conference. Mizzou defeated Kentucky 33-10 for the annual Homecoming football game.

With junior quarterback James Franklin back in the starting lineup, the Tiger offense is hoping to continue its offensive success from the game against Kentucky. Franklin played for a bit in the second half to finish off the victory.

The Gators are having a better than expected season currently with a record of 7-1.  Like many successful SEC teams, Florida has the 6th best total defense in college football.

Florida quarterback Jeff Driskel has led the Gators to an average offense. The Gators are ranked 100th in total offense.

Watch the Tigers play the Gators at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
