COLUMBIA, Mo. (Missouri Football App) -- Missouri head football coach Gary Pinkel told members of the media Monday the good news. Pinkel said there were no injuries to report and that all starters should play.
The biggest news was hearing that starting quarterback James Franklin would return to the starting lineup and start against Florida on Saturday. Franklin was hurt on October 6 with a strained MCL. He came into the game against Kentucky on Saturday and played quite well. Franklin threw for just 16 yards, but was very efficient in passing completing 6 of 9 throws.
The Tigers are back to 4-4 and1-4 in the SEC and if the team wants to make any kind of push towards the postseason, they’re going to need Franklin and the rest of the squad in tip-top shape. Mizzou travels to Florida on Saturday.
